Terms of Service for Second Wind Sales

1. Scope of Service

Second Wind Sales provides information regarding our inventory and offers local technical repair services. Please note:

  • Direct Services: We provide tech repairs directly to local customers.
  • External Sales: We do not process e-commerce transactions directly on secondwindsales.ca. All product purchases are completed through third-party marketplaces (e.g., eBay, Etsy, etc.).

2. Third-Party Marketplace Purchases

When you click a link on our site to purchase an item, you are redirected to a third-party platform.

  • Transaction Terms: Any purchase made is subject to the terms, conditions, and return policies of that specific marketplace (e.g., eBay’s Money Back Guarantee).
  • Shipping & Receiving: Shipping, tracking, and delivery disputes for products are handled by the respective marketplace and are governed by their shipping policies.
  • Liability: Second Wind Sales is not responsible for technical issues, payment processing errors, or shipping delays occurring on third-party platforms.

3. Local Repair Services

For customers engaging in local tech repairs:

  • Estimates: All repair quotes are estimates and may change based on the discovery of additional hardware or software issues.
  • Data Responsibility: It is the customer’s responsibility to back up all data before submitting a device for repair. Second Wind Sales is not liable for data loss.
  • Abandonment: Items left for more than [Insert Number, e.g., 60] days after service completion without payment or communication may be considered abandoned and disposed of or sold to recover costs.

4. Voluntary Support (“Buy Me a Coffee”)

We provide an option for users to support our repair content and site maintenance via voluntary contributions.

  • No Exchange of Goods: These contributions are gifts and do not constitute payment for repairs or products.
  • Non-Refundable: All contributions made via “Buy Me a Coffee” or similar platforms are strictly non-refundable.

5. Limitation of Liability

Second Wind Sales provides repair services on a “best effort” basis. While we strive for excellence, we are not liable for incidental damages or the failure of aged or significantly damaged hardware during the repair process.

6. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta (or your specific province) and the federal laws of Canada.
